Santa Cristina d'Aro House

Perched on a hillside in Santa Cristina d'Aro, this second home enjoys sweeping views across the Costa Brava landscape. The brief was to transform a cold, impersonal house into a warm and timeless home without altering its architecture. Through a carefully developed FF&E project, every decision—from furniture selection and lighting to textiles and bespoke elements—was guided by the way the owners wanted to live in the space.

The villa is arranged over three levels. Guest bedrooms occupy the lower floor, while the kitchen, dining area and living room form the social heart of the home on the main level. The primary suite sits on the upper floor, offering greater privacy. Every space was designed as part of a cohesive whole, where materials, proportions and finishes create a consistent visual language throughout.

The project brings together carefully selected furniture, decorative lighting, textiles, rugs, artwork and bespoke pieces created specifically for the house. Earthy tones, warm browns and terracotta shades establish a natural dialogue with the Mediterranean surroundings, creating calm, welcoming interiors.

Several bespoke elements were developed in collaboration with skilled artisans, allowing every material, finish and proportion to be tailored to the architecture and the lifestyle of its owners.
